SFSC will not give advice about the tax or other gift treatment, and encourages donors to seek guidance from professional advisers for help in making donations. SFSC accepts cash or publicly traded securities donations. Real property, personal property and in-kind gifts must be reviewed prior to acceptance. SFSC will respect the donor’s preference for restricted purposes and anonymity. SFSC will only share information about anonymous gifts with staff members with a need to know. SFSC will not compensate, through commissions, finders’ fees or other means, any third party for directing a gift or a donor to SFSC.
