San Francisco Study Center is the sole owner of the information collected on these sites. We only collect information that you give us voluntarily through our websites or via email or other direct contact from you. We will use your information to respond to you when you contact us. We will not share your information with any third party unless we need it to fulfill your request, for example to acknowledge a donation or sale. Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email to tell you about nonprofit news, specials, new products or services or changes to this privacy policy.
Third–Party Service Providers
San Francisco Study Center shares personal information collected through its sites with third-party service providers who act for or on our behalf and may need information about users to perform their functions. We currently use GoDaddy as our website host. By providing us with your email address, you acknowledge that the information you provide will be transferred to MailChimp according to its privacy policy. Project donations are handled through the Stripe online payment processing service, and are covered by Stripe’s privacy policy.
Security
We take precautions to protect your information both online and offline. Your credit card numbers, security codes and other sensitive, personal information are never stored on our website or server. Donations to our projects and book sales, for example, are handled by the payment gateway Stripe.
Sensitive information we collect, such as credit card data, is encrypted and transmitted to us securely. You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar and an “https” at the beginning of the address of the web page.
Offline, only employees who need the information to perform a specific job have access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept and maintained in a secure environment.

Our sites, studycenter.org and fiscalsponsordirectory.org, include links to external websites. These links do not fall under our domain, and we are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these external websites. Your use of any linked website is solely at your own risk.
Access to and Control Over Information
