Pacific Heights

Leland Lazarus, a retired Municipal and Superior Court judge, was born in San Francisco the year before the city was devastated by an earthquake and fire. Lazarus worked as a reporter at the daily San Francisco News to pay his law school tuition at the University of San Francisco.
