Richmond

Leon von Hauffe was born in Russia in 1906 and, after graduating from Harbin Polytechnic Institute in China in 1931, moved to Shanghai where he met and married his wife, Alla. They came to San Francisco in 1956, where he worked for the Bechtel Corp. and at the Presidio as a mechanical engineer.
